Vtg 30's Print Block Agricultural Advertising Hudson Pesticide Duster #17

I purchased a huge lot of these from a local auction house.  In total, there are nearly 350 separate print blocks with various ads for agricultural, gardening, and farming supplies.  As best as I can tell, all of the print blocks were used to produce the Condon Bros. Seed Company mail order catalog and the Shumway's Seed Company catalog.  The two companies merged in 1933, but each continued to put out their own catalog.  All of the print blocks are about the same age.  I saw one dated as early as 1932 and one dated as late as 1936.  I suspect many of the blocks were used in annual catalogs for multiple years.  All of the blocks are in the exact condition they were in when I purchased them.  I did lightly wipe the copper on some of them with some vinegar on a soft rag, just to make it easier to make out the engraved print on there.  Each print block has a picture with rulers on two sides so you can easily tell the size of the block you are purchasing. Most of them are intact with the copper/zinc/metal plate attached to the wooden block. A small number of them are just the copper/zinc/metal plate without the wood block.  This will be obvious in the pictures. A few of them have a heavy metal block instead of wood.
