Description
Ashtray is 5-3/4" across. It is made from molded plastic.I have seen others list this as Bakelite but it does not have the characteristics of Bakelite. It is more likely a plasticized cellulose which was used for accurate molding of plastics in the late 1930's. The name of the company that made this was 'Accurate Molding Corp'. I am not an expert so it is only a guess.
