Description

A set of four Stangl Pottery, New Jersey, USA, 6.25" saucer in Amber Glo pattern. Hand painted dinnerware in a red body. Amber Glo was designed by Kay Hackett and introduced in 1954. Pattern #3899. Mix and matches with Golden Harvest pattern. Carved and hand painted with gray band and dark brown borders and orange, yellow, gray, brown center design. Stangl discontinued use of a red body in October 1974. No cracks or chips, show only minor wear. Variations exist due to artisans, especially in gray band. Note that one saucer has an artist's swirl of paint inside the gray band.
I search garage sales, estate sales, auctions, and thrift stores for the items I list for sale.
Items are thoroughly cleaned/washed.

Artificial light can cast an amber/yellow glow upon items, esp linens.
Vintage items generally show age and some wear and I do my best to make note of any condition issues.
