    This auction is for a nice Rare Antique Sandwich Glass Translucent Starch Turquoise Blue Child's Pressed Paneled Toy Tumbler, c. 1855-1870. This pressed paneled toy tumbler is a truly beautiful and rare example of an early child's toy glass in a unique translucent starch turquoise blue glass. This tumbler has a polished blown pontil on the base and is in flint glass. This color is unlisted in "A Guide To Sandwich Glass Witch Balls, Containers and Toys" by Barlow and Kaiser, plate #3323, where a cobalt blue glass example was valued at 0 back in 1987. This rare color would be worth quite a bit more! This also has a strong vintage as it has a sticker on the inside that shows that it comes from the Breckel collection of Sandwich Glass which included a large section of glass toys! I offer this translucent blue glass toy tumbler here with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The toy tumbler is 1 5/8" H. x 1 5/8" Dia.
