The Robot from Death By Audio constructs unique, 8-bit, synthetic sounds that sound like no other pedal. This pitch transposer makes your instrument sound like a digital 8-bit machine akin to the sounds popularized by old video games. There isn't a pedal quite like the Robot. Control the pedal by first selecting the mode of operation with the 4-way Mode selector knob. Choose from Normal, Octave Down, Octave Up, and Arpeggiator modes. Then, adjust the volume as you see fit, and use the Control knob to adjust the pitch of the 8-bit conversion in Normal, Octave Up, and Octave Down modes. When the Robot is in Arpeggiator mode, the Control knob adjusts the speed of the arpeggiation. All of these features add up to form an 8-bit transposer that is truly unique from its sound to its versatility.
