bose radio With Remote 1998

bose radio.
Used it worked last time it was used. I do not have an antenna I could not receive a station when I turned it on today. However it lights up shows stations am and fm.
I did not try remote I would think batteries are dead I have not used it in ten years.
This radio is dirty from storage but it as seen and as described !
I do not know why am or fm was just static.
Clock works and remote probably and maybe alarm ! That is the way it is being represented and sold no return
