This is a Bose AW-1 Acoustic Wave Music System AM/FM Cassette complete with the hard to find PEDESTAL which enables attaching inputs for VCR, CD, Tape, and Auxiliary.
This Estate Sale Find is in nearly pristine cosmetic condition. Absolutely no blemishes, marks or scratches. The radio puts out amazing sound. The cassette belts are good and the spindles work in “PLAY”, “FORWARD”, “REWIND” and “FAST FORWARD.” When cassette’s “PLAY” is pushed the mechanism engages the head, and the spindles turn the tape but no sound is produced. There is a “shadow” in the upper right corner of the digital tuner display (see photo)’ display numbers are not affected and are complete and clear. The main unit has audio in and audio out rca capability. The pedestal is also in exceptional condition. (See above for the options the PEDESTAL afford.) The original antenna is perfect. FYI - this model Bose System did not offer a remote.
