    Antique Sandwich Glass Electric Blue Glass Toy Hexagonal Spooner, The Boston and Sandwich Glass Co., c. 1850-1870. This beautiful little electric blue glass spooner is an early piece of flint glass that was manufactured as a toy for a child more than 150 years ago. This spooner is a simple hexagonal pattern and it was produced at the Sandwich glass houses during the middle of the 19th century. This spooner is listed in "A Guide To Sandwich Glass Witch Balls, Containers and Toys", by Barlow and Kaiser, plate # 3334, where it booked for 0 in green glass. I offer this rare electric blue glass toy spooner with no reserve and a Buy It Now. SIZE: This rare toy spoon holder is 1 11/16" H. x 1 5/16" Dia. at the top and 15/16" Dia at the base. CONDITION: The condition is very good with some minor nicks to the rim and foot. There are also straw marks, bubbles, sand and other imperfections in the glass typical of glassware from this very early period.
